It doesn’t matter if he is left, or right, or center.

Decisions have consequences.

His decision to release this man cost four innocent people their lives.

Hind sight?

Where was his fore sight?

He has blood on his hands, that is all there is to it, period, end of story.

How is the conservative movement supposed to get stronger when errors by decent people are shredded ruthlessly by those on the same team? Did he sell out? Was he corrupt? Were his morals compromised? Otherwise, who can say the same decision wouldn’t be made again given the facts he had at the time? He didn’t open the prison door - he commuted a sentence - not sure if it was from death to life or from a longer time to a shorter one...whatever, there were many other people who had to be involved in freeing the guy. He didn’t get a pardon.
