Society has decided, properly I think, to make the life of our President worth more than the life of an ordinary citizen.

In somewhat of a decending order, so are the lives of Congressmen, Governors, and, eventually, the ordinary cop on the beat.

You obviously disagree, but much of this has been written into law.

How is the conservative movement supposed to get stronger when errors by decent people are shredded ruthlessly by those on the same team? Did he sell out? Was he corrupt? Were his morals compromised? Otherwise, who can say the same decision wouldn’t be made again given the facts he had at the time? He didn’t open the prison door - he commuted a sentence - not sure if it was from death to life or from a longer time to a shorter one...whatever, there were many other people who had to be involved in freeing the guy. He didn’t get a pardon.

Firstly, Passthebuckabee is not a conservative.

He will play no part in the strengthening of the conservative movement regardless of this incident.

Secondly, without Passthebuckabee’s reducing this man’s sentence from 108 years to 47, he would have remained ineligible for parole.

In other words, Passthebuckabee enabled this entire situation from the start.

Despite that Huck is pro life, christian, pro gun ownership, pro border security, advocates for national defense, and is pro tax reform, my point is if conservatives don’t need his vote or any others like him, then keep shredding him. He irritated the heck out of me during the election but if conservatives keep spitting on anything that looks a little different, it’s going to be a long time out of power.

In his bid for clemency, Clemmons noted that he was just a teenager when he committed the crimes. He also said that he was from “a very good Christian family” and expressed shame for what he had done. “...the angel of death has visited and taken away my dear sweet mother, and this more than anything has effected change for the good in my heart,” he wrote. “Because now I have to live with all that I put her through I wasn’t able to be with her and make her proud of me before she passed away. I have never done anything good for God, but I’ve prayed for him to grant me in his compassion the grace to make a start. Now I’m humbly appealing to you for a brand-new start.”

Listen, I am not ever going to knowingly vote for a person who releases criminals by the thousand into the public.

Incarceration is the job of judges and juries, not idiots elected to office.

I don’t care what his politics are, and I do not care about power either. The democrats may be allowed to get away with murder by their voters, I will hold republicans accountable for every one of their actions.

If you want to vote for him, you do that. There is nothing you can say that will convince me to support this sorry excuse for a governor.

Done with Passthebuckabee, got it?

Listen, I never voted for him and never would. Our team sucks. And...if we keep spitting on all our teammates we’re going to continue to stink.

I understand what you are saying. There are a lot of phonies on the right side of the isle. All I am telling you is that I did not support Huckabee previously, but there is no way on this earth I can support him now. I accept his acknowledgment of some measure of responsibility in this matter, but for me, the consequence of that responsibility is that I would never consider trusting him with the power of presidential pardons. His poor judgment played a part in the death of four innocent people. Enough, Mike.
