No, that's still allowed. Embedding is like you see above just before the first post. It allows an actual video to appear in the thread without having to go to YouTube or wherever it's hosted. FR does not want that because it "dirties" up the threads. I belong to other forums and the embedding can get pretty crazy. People think that everyone MUST see a certain video and they embed it in the thread.
Sure sounds like a Teamsters election to me.
