Such a quick WH admission that Desiree intentionally broke protocol.... gives the setup away.

she won’t go (even if she does, it will just be to another job ala VanJones and Anita)...

but the propaganda point has been made perfectly, and the spin is almost complete.....

never mind that every time the president decides to go campaigning for the week, in some corner of the globe or another, or the next state over, he creates more and more security situations....

the message is clear: only Obama people can be trusted to protect Obama....

the Secret Service failed because there was no Obama people supervising them, you see.....

good Desiree...bad Secret Service....

and the game continues....

You see how the con lady “shakes” hands? She’s got both her hands around his. I’d say she’s very practiced at getting men to forget what they were previously thinking about.

Desiree Rogers did nothing wrong. However unfortunate this situation is with these boorish party crashers, it is hardly obvious that Ms. Rogers or the White House Social Office should have been manning the White House entrances. Was Leticia Baldridge personally responsible for checking off guests who entered Kennedy White House events? Of course not. The elegant, shrewd, and sophisticated White House Social Secretary was correct to trust that White House guests would have to present proper identification to White House security personnel. Clearly, security procedures at the white House will have to tighten up — and I’m certain that they will.

There is an article posted on these threads earlier that was reported in the Canadian Free Press that 0bama had met and knew these people during his Illinois senate days..and is photographed with them and others.
How about this idea..it was a set up by 0bama to make the Secret Service look bad and now he can set about getting his own personnel in place so when he hosts his coronation there will be more difficulties in ousting him and that fugly wife of his along with all his cronies....
Just an idea here on a late Sat night....

Excellent thought piece, Mr. Kristinn.

My initial analysis is the same as most people out there.

The blame (and therefore the ultimate responsibility for this) will come down to one of three parties.

1) The Couple Themselves.

2) The White House Staff And Officials (including perhaps all the way to Obama himself.)

3) The U.S. Secret Service.

Let us see what we think would happen?

In terms of the thinking of the Obama Administration which is "investigating" this security breach, will a Democratic-campaign donating couple who are going to hold an event in D.C. in the summer which they have invited big wigs such as Obama and the Ambassador of India to the US, really get in trouble? (1)

Will the Obama Administration indict itself, fire White House staff and officials, some maybe even high officials, if it turns out THEY were responsible for the security lapse?(2)

Will it be the non-partisan, professional (and probably predominantly white, male, conservative) U.S. Secret Service that will be found at fault and tossed under the bus? (3)

I think we can come to some initial conclusions, if not initial predictions, Kristinn, as to how this will end up.

My growing theory? Arun K Singh, the "DCM" of the Indian Embassy in D.C. who also went to that State Dinner, may have gotten them into the party somehow, and by-passed security procedures in the process, and may have pulled strings with high officials of the Obama Administration, and therefore the USSS was only carrying out what it was ordered to carry out, but since the Administration will not be transparent, nor fire internal Obama people, the professionals at the Secret Service are being forced to take the blame and a spot under the bus is being readied for them. I am coming around to this position after some 24 hours of thinking about it.

Arabic news agencies (newspapers, websites, TV stations) are already broadcasting and explaining the specifics of "the White House Security Breach by Crashers" in a number of outlets. And gee, guess who also reads these news dispatches--in ARABIC...... including on terrorist websites themselves: http://www.al-hijjawi.com/vb/index.php?page=topic&show=1&id=2418 This story should have longer legs if you ask me, but then again, somebody is probably engaging in cover up and obstruction of justice to save their hide and job, and maybe even the positions of some very senior people who's names we might well recognize:

(Source: Al-Hijawi)

This was not just Obama there. We had INDIAN PRIME MINISTER MANMOHAN SINGH! Do they realize how stupid, porous and disorganized Americans appear overseas as a result of this, and now that couple trying to cash in on the debacle with six figures!!?

I would have Republican Congressmen and their staff's getting in on this one, particularly members of the Intelligence commmittee(s).

Could this be much ado about nothing. There are so many surrounding the president that have questionable backgrounds how do they distinguish the bad/good visitors.

Do we even know what was accomplish with the Indian PM’s visit?

That is one ugly dress on the nasty-sweet Desiree — must have been inspired by south-side Chicago in a snow-storm.

Rogers says she plans events that “promote the Obama presidency” and make sure “the White House asset is reflective of who they [the Obamas] are.”

Unbelievable.

The "White House asset" - just another prop to promote and glorify the narcissists.

I've had it up to here with these evil Marxists spitting on America every day.
