Abraham Lincoln was somewhat of a third-party candidate in 1860. I seem to recall him winning that year. Former President Teddy Roosevelt came very close, IIRC, in 1912.

Exactly. If ever there were a time for a third party in this country it’s now. Both parties are irresponsible, corrupt, power grabbers. And Bob J seems to support the idea that we should continue to prop up irresponsible, corrupt, power grabbers just because they have an “R” next to their name. I am sick of it... and most Americans are as well.
