1998, when America was celebrating Sosa and McGwire I told anyone that would listen that those guys were jacked to the moon.....
Everyone wants proof, proof, show me a picture of him sticking a needle in his arm or you can’t say it, blah blah blah.
I know what I know, I know what you can do with your body without drugs and there is a limit, no matter how well fueled or how intense you work out, drugs change everything, they work and they work FANTASTICALLY. Anyone in the NFL NOT using drugs is at a major disadvantage, clean guys are the exception and you have to be stupid to get caught.
They always show you the side by side stick figure Barry Bonds and the “filled out” Barry Bonds. To coin a phrase he FUNDAMENTALLY changed his body. The former stick figure Tiger Woods now looks like an NFL strong safety. You think he’s the only guy on tour who lifts weights????????? No, he’s not, guys have been lifting weights for a long, long, time.
The “new” body type is accepted with the nonsense of superior nutrition, year round workouts......it’s all a cover story for the drugs. Human evolution hasn’t marched forward 400 generations in the past 40 years, it’s the drugs and ONLY the drugs that have changed. Steroid bodies are MARKETED in movies, commercials, sports and most people don’t think they’re steroid bodies, they just accept that’s what “modern athletes” look like now. It’s all a sham.
It's all a sham.
Often the perceptive person can spot something well before the main stream of the general public can. Sports writers are often perceptive, but dare not risk their jobs. True this may be a bit off from the topic of Wood's accident- unless steroids played a part in that.
Years ago, a college football player, Canadian born was picked up for over $4 million dollars. Rumours spread, he was wall to wall muscle and nearly 300 1bs in weight. I saw a magazine article of Canadian origin. It showed him at the super market with 4 shopping carts full of food. This "explained" his weight. I spotted his lower legs and saw serious flaws. Yes, the team lost over $ 4 million on his playing record. Years after steadfast denials of anabolic steroid usage, he has admitted he used the stuff.
I used Google and got:
STEROID NATION BLOG
The important question for me is - does steroid usage hurt personal relationships? Secondly are people aware of the perils of usage.
