It certainly looks handsome to me. I wonder what's on the obverse. I always thought the Indian Head Nickel was the most handsome 20th Century U.S., or maybe any country's, coin. The Indian Head penny was handsome as well.

The problem with the Sacagawea and Susan B. Dollars, imho, was that they were so fugly, not the theme, size or demonination. The aluminum Loony and Twoony are handsome coins and met immediate acceptance by the Canadian public. It the Canadian mint had tried something as fugly as the previous U.S. efforts it probably would have met with the same reaction.

They screwed it up. It makes her look like friggin' valley girl doing a Marie Antoinette playing milkmaid gig. Just horrible. I fully expect her to hop into an SUV and drive over to an "Honest Injun Souvenir Stand". Not as fugly as the previous efforts but it completely fails to convey any sense of pride or nobility. A.W.F.U.L.
