Very interesting "side-by-side". My opinion, if you are a "real" American (one who studied and remembers history) you will see one of these people as an impostor and the other as real. When you look at Barry's book ... the gaps don't make sense ... how does he "pay" for things, etc. Palin fills in the gaps with the reasoning for what would be gaps and there are no gaps. Again, if you have not read the Palin book, you are missing something special. It will lift your spirits ... I'm personally 10% happier after reading it. (Scientifically, peer-reviewed data!) There has been so much "bad" news ... how refreshing to see there is HOPE for real CHANGE! As her book says, this lady was doing "change" before it was popular.

I have read it, and two things stand out: a real affection for the American people, which our present POTUS and elite clealry do not share; a willingness and history of working very hard.
