In other words, you're still talking generalities, what are the specifics that you would look for in a candidate's positions? Is taxation always bad? Should churches and social programs be exempt from taxation?

I read it. You don’t sound much different from me.
i.e.:
Eternal Renegade
Location: United States
Hard Core Conservative. No middle ground. No Moderate or Liberal ground. No quids, pros, or quos. Unyielding, unwavering. As ye sow, so shall ye reap. Beginning and End of story.
No abortion.
Pro death penalty.
No gay marriage.
No federal government run education.
No taxation without representation, which comes from having a full time elite political class.
I will not make a blanket statement about drugs. Some of the legal drugs they have foisted on us are just as addictive, just as lethal, just as dangerous, if not moreso.
And some of the drugs declared illegal, while I wouldn’t use them myself, are far less dangerous.
No “extra” rights for anyone in so-called protected classes, since all of our rights are already guaranteed including the rights of the unborn.
No thought crime legislation.
And as long a fed gov rules trump states’ rights, it really doesn’t matter what states say or do. Cases in point, the “stimulus,” and the Commerce laws.
