How is Pawlenty a “faux conservative”?

He's just another GOP elitist, has governed as a moderate-RINO in Minnesota, and if you want another example, Governor Sarah Palin (who is a conservative's conservative), didn't have to dilly dally around to figure out who to endorse in New York District 23 (Doug Hoffman), but Pawlenty weaseled out of taking a stand with the excuse that he hadn't been paying attention, i.e. "I just don't know anything about it" (EXACT QUOTE), and if Pawlenty thinks he has a Chinaman's chance in Hell of being the GOP nominee, he BETTER know "something about it".

Need more? Minnesota's fiscal situation has NOT improved under Pawlenty's tenure, and the last time he was elected, he demonstrated that he has NO coat tails to speak of, as he actually LOST Republican officials when the tally was done.

You like Pawlenty? Move to Minnesota and tell him to keep his ass right there.

I live in Mn asswipe so I think I know a bit more about Pawlenty than you've imagined. I suggest you try educating yourself about Pawlenty's tenure in MN before telling me that he governed as a "RINO" and that the fiscal situation hasn't improved in MN.

Next time I suggest you use facts before you attempt to beat down anyone who might challenge Sarah Palin...

There were several weeks when Hoffman was being supported solidly by conservative groups, and we were discussing whether Palin was ever going to endorse him or not.

So while she certainly didn’t “dilly-dally” in the same way that Pawlenty did (or Romney, who as far as I could tell was still “dilly-dallying” when the election was over), she was pretty late to the game, compared to the organizational players and people like Fred Thompson, who beat her by almost a month.

From a strategic point of view, having endorsements come to you in a staggered fashion is often a good thing, it shows momentum that can sway people toward the end.
