“We can only hope that nobody finds anything impure about Sarah Palin, or we’ll be left voting for the tooth fairy.”

If you check Sarah PAC contributions, you will see she donated to McCain, Hatch, Graham, and a liberal female whose name escapes me at the moment.

Given that McCain was her running mate, it isn’t surprising she’d donate money to him. Hopefully not for next year’s senate primary if we have a conservative in the mix.

Other than the “liberal female” you don’t have a name for, while I dislike many of the positions of at least two of those three candidates, and would like to see them primaried away, I wouldn’t call any of them ‘RINOS’ (a term that applied well to DeDe Scozafossa, but which I think otherwise is way too overused as a substitute for “not conservative enough).

IF you presume the nation is divided into two political parties that have a chance of winning, and that everybody could be placed into one or the other, the voting records of those three clearly puts them on the Republican side of the line.

Only if you argue that there is a large group of people who don’t get to join EITHER party can you say that McCain is a RINO in it’s literal definition.

However, that’s the last I’ll argue the term here in this thread, because I kind of know what is MEANT by the term in this context, so while the term is not being used accurately, it is conveying a message that is understandable.
