I think the 13B is 13Bravo, the military unit he was in.
13B stand for 13Bravo which is field artillery military occupational specialty, or MOS.
Ancient history for me now .
Specifically I was 13B10 which is light towed artillery.
I miss the fire and the fury, the sound of the howitzer and the smell of the smoke.
But, I have bad knees now.
So this hunting dog no longer ‘hunts’.
Been looking for a nice quiet pasture to laze about in when I can.
