Are you really saying I should not have voted for Ganske because he did not win? He had a chance.

Uh, Ganske lost to Harkin 54.2% > 43.8%. Them's landslide figures.

BTW, why are you dwelling on the 2002 election? Harkin was elected back to office in 2006. Inquiring minds want to know, and all that...

Because it is the perfect analogy of what I'm trying to point out. I believe it was the right thing to vote for Ganske.

It is extremely disheartening to see the hostility towards people like me that see the strategy differently. If you knew my voting record, you would see that I consistently support the most conservative in a primary race but if my person loses, then I'm going to do whatever necessary to prevent the Tom Harkins of this world from having the opportunity to tyranize our country. I ask for respect for my point of view.
