And as to whether or not I was “excusing” the post, I stated that the poster was probably a troll and by definition that does not excuse the post.
Have you noticed that there seems to be an awfully lot of trollish (or questionable) posters with a sign-up date of 1998? I’ve often wondered what’s up with that. Maybe another full-out assault like they pulled right before the 2006 election.
