Freepers voted for Sarah not McCain and we cried all the way to the ballot box. Not Newt. He supported Scozzafava even after she campaigned for Owens. Keep him. And leave those of us who think for ourselves alone

I never called Newt my hero. I said he was a conservative that served as OUR hero with his Contract With America during a time when we were being assaulted by the commie Clintons. We need someone like Newt now more than ever, more NOW than even during those eight looong years under Bubba.
If you had read my post, you’d know that I am just trying to get to the truth, the whole truth and nothing but. I’ve heard varying opinions and accusations...and some I can agree with. Some I’m not convinced of yet.
I find it better to think ‘for myself’ and find out for sure, before condemning someone based merely on hearsay. Innocent until proven guilty is much better than guilty until proven innocent. Wouldn’t you agree?
