I don’t know how many times I’ve said this over this years, but I’ll say it again for clarity. At the end of the day, I’d vote for a more liberal member of an overall conservative party (read GOP) over a more conservative member of an overall liberal party (read Democrats) because what really counts is numerical superiority. I’ll live with individual votes I don’t like in return for control of congress and all the power that comes with it. I honest believe that only a tiny minority of the population, and even FReeper understand how much more powerful the majority party is just because it’s a majority.
