They have no intention of cutting actual carbon emissions, only the ratio of carbon to GDP. So if their GDP triples their carbon emissions would still rise by 150 to 200%.

I agree. What is really going on? China and India’s refusal to go along with CO2 BS was a reason for those who didn’t believe in global warming to state that our manufacturing would continue to move offshore. The question is why is China aiding Obozo in imposing a carbon tax on the American people.
It looks like the goose that laid the golden eggs (the American people)is going to get slaughtered if the Chinese have a say.

Yep- watch the change in the commercials on TV lately- I’m noticing a subtle change from a message where we have to ‘stop global warming’ to one where ‘Carbon power is dirty and unhealthy’- they are REALLY goign after coal right now, which 40% of our industries rely on-
FACT: We are one of hte cleanest industrialized nations on earth right now, and have made major strides in cleanign up our air- yet this has doen nothign to change the climate because we- the world, can NOT change the lcimate one iota even if we all stopped all carbon consumption, and second, our efforts, which have cost businesses billions of dollars, has doen nothign to decrease asthma and lung problems- but commercials and advertisements claim coal is the reason we have higher numbers of asthma cases DESPITE the fact that we’ve cleaned up our environment in recent decades and the numbers of cases of asthma is INCREASING, NOT decreasing
