I believe Modern American Jews have a generations long Stockholm syndrome that compels them to embrace secular power as a misguided defensive tact. They feel that upsetting the status quo holds the greatest risk so they vote as their elders have before them.

Well, first of all I'm not Jewish.
Second, it was a rather obscure reference to the whiney-ass "I'm So Sorry" internet thing the "Bush-haters" did a few years back - I was making fun of that groups efforts by attempting a similar action regarding the Obie-bots sneaking around in Israel.

The tie-downs for a shoulder rig would be connected to the belt further back along his waist. Usually straight down from the arm-pit on the carry side.
What I see exposed looks to be too far towards the front of the body for a shoulder rig tie-down.

I agree. They obviously overcame cultural reticence and fear and now see the enemy in a clear light: no illusions about mulitcultural solidarity. You can't sleep with wolves.

I have no grudge against a guy like Rahm Emmanuel serving in the IDF - if you are in Israel, it's the right thing to do.

What I don't understand is his gig coming back to the U.S. - did he get scared? Was it too real, having to be on pins everyday, ready to rock and roll when Hamas fires a mortar?
