Yes, I mentioned that in a post further up, comparing it to why I can be a dual citizen of the US and Italy. When I was born, an immigrant on both my mothers and fathers side, had already been naturalized and renounced their citizenship of Italy.
I cant see how he could be natural born, with an african father. His father was a citizen elsewhere.
However, I think there is something in those hidden records, like perhaps he was in college with exchange student status or something, that would smack this right in the face of every american.
Like you said..it matters little where he was born..it was his status at birth.
