Nailed it. They're going all out now because they know they'll be too busy manning the barricades in 2010, and declaring Obama president for life by 2012. I hardily agree, and am not optimistic for a routing on Nov 2010. But I am cautious about posting my true feelings because I don't want to be banned nor do I want the Feds showing up at my door.
