Cheney raps Obama's 'inexperience'

Former Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday that President Barack Obama’s “inexperience” might be keeping him from making a decision on an Afghanistan strategy.

Asked in an interview with Scott Hennen, a conservative radio host, if Obama's prolonged war strategy review was a “dereliction” of his duties as president, Cheney said: “Well, I haven’t gone that far, and it may in part be inexperience on Obama’s part. ... It may be that there’s confusion on the staff, but I’m not encouraged by it.”

Cheney also called the administration’s decision to try the Sept. 11 terrorism suspects in New York City a “big mistake,” saying a response to an “act of war” should be to “marshal all your national assets and your national means to go after the bad guys to go after those who supplied them.”

Hell Cheney, how about saying something a little bit stronger?

considering all the trouble and bad PR you caused us during your 8 years in office

Come on gutless wonder who wouldn’t accept a challenge in the Electoral College while voting in the Great Usurper !!!!!!!!!!!!

You couldn’t even look up to ask “any challenges???”

Now look what we got.

And why not look at the camera someday, un-scripted, and just say

Hey BO !!! Where’s your goddamn Birth Certificate ?????????

A little help here ???

It is not by accident that Cheney does not get much press .. it is a bit of kill the messenger response by the liberals.

I am glad for Cheney. Not that i agree with all his actions while in VP position.

We desperately in need of voices to expose truth from the conservative leaders. Former President Bush says nothing.

Powell joined the liberal side.

“Ditherer” - “Inexperience” - Cheney picks his words well.

IMO Cheney is a very intelligent, thoughtful statesman.

I like this one:

Cesar Conda Former domestic policy advisor to Vice President Cheney :

“President Obama reminds of Mr. Spock, the emotionless, passionless, logical and cerebral half-Vulcan, half-human first officer of the iconic Star Trek television series. Both Obama and Spock are charismatic in their own ways. But unlike Mr. Spock, who occasionally flashed his “human” side (like in the classic episode “Amok Time” where Spock returns to Vulcan, becomes enraged during a death match with Captain Kirk, and shows extreme emotion when he discovers Kirk is alive) Barack Obama has yet to show any emotion, passion, or gut-level instinct about anything since he became President. Our Presidents don’t have to “feel your pain.” but it would be reassuring to know that they feel something”.

Maybe experience is overrated.

“There has been a good deal of comment — some of it quite outlandish — about what our postwar requirements might be in Iraq. Some of the higher end predictions we have been hearing recently, such as the notion that it will take several hundred thousand U.S. troops to provide stability in post-Saddam Iraq, are wildly off the mark. It is hard to conceive that it would take more forces to provide stability in post-Saddam Iraq than it would take to conduct the war itself and to secure the surrender of Saddam’s security forces and his army — hard to imagine.” - Paul Wolfowitz, February 27, 2003

“My belief is we will, in fact, be greeted as liberators” – Dick Cheney, March 16, 2003

“Well, the Office of Management and Budget, has come up come up with a number that’s something under $50 billion for the cost. How much of that would be the U.S. burden, and how much would be other countries, is an open question “– Donald Rumsfeld, January 19, 2003

“”There’s a lot of money to pay for this. It doesn’t have to be U.S. taxpayer money. We are dealing with a country that can really finance its own reconstruction, and relatively soon.” - Paul Wolfowitz, March 27, 2003

Interesting “Arena”, thanks. I read it fairly regularly and the tone of the koolaid drinkers is much less confident. 0bama is flailing and they know it.

I agree. I like Cheney but he is being way too comforting to the left to say.... and it may in part be inexperience.

BHO is experienced in his anti American stance. Keeping that 'inexperienced' disguise on him keeps giving him a pass for his REAL intentions! He is DELIBERATELY derelict in his CIC duties.

Yeah last time I looked at this place it was Christine Pelosi bashing Bush with him holding the sheiks hand. They shut up when they found out Bush only did it to lead the sheik as he is nearly blind.

As well as the MISSION accomplished bash Bush deal was the Naval Vessal itselfs sign for passing a Battle E or some sort inspection.
