Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
This should be a day free from ALL this kind of crap, but when I awoke this morning, I realized that we are still in the real world and there is no escape.
This is bam’s “Thanksgiving message” to our troops. It just turns my stomach, as does just about everything associated with this arrogant, classless piece of walking trash.

Obama sends Thanksgiving message to US military
(AFP) – 20 hours ago

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama sent Wednesday a Thanksgiving message of thanks and support to the US military and all those hurting financially in what he said had been “a tough year for America.”

“I want to wish a happy Thanksgiving to every service member at home or in harm’s way,” Obama said in a brief speech outside the White House on the eve of Thanksgiving, which falls this Thursday.

“We’re proud of you and we are thinking of you and we’re praying for you.

“As we give thanks for our security, let’s in turn thank those who’ve sacrificed to make it possible, wherever they may be,” he said, saying he was honored to serve as “commander-in-chief of the finest military in the world.”

Obama also spared a thought for the “many members of our American family (who) are hurting” as the United States weathers a difficult period economically with unemployment at a 26-year high.

“There’s no question this has been a tough year for America. We’re at war. Our economy is emerging from an extraordinary recession into recovery.

“On this quintessentially American holiday, as we give thanks for what we’ve got, let’s also give back to those who are less fortunate,” Obama said.

The First Family was due later Wednesday to deliver two Thanksgiving turkeys to Martha’s Table, a non-profit that provides food, clothing and educational opportunities to the needy in Washington.

Two turkeys? Are you effing kidding me???
They MUST be talkin’ about him and his nasty mate.
Two turkeys indeed.
HE’S honored???
And then there is this:

Compare any of it to his oversolicitous grand “greeting” to the muslims attending the freaking hadj.
I can’t stand it.

And then remember this:

Bush Makes Surprise Visit to Troops in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Iraq — Turkey with the commander in chief was a surprise Thanksgiving treat for American troops in Baghdad Thursday.

President Bush flew in under the cover of darkness to dine with U.S. forces at a Baghdad International Airport mess hall. It was the first trip ever by an American president to Iraq — a mission tense with concern about his safety.

With the president out of sight, L. Paul Bremer, the chief U.S. civilian administrator, told the soldiers it was time to read the president’s Thanksgiving proclamation and that it was a task for the most senior official present.

“Is there anybody back there more senior than us?” he asked. That was the cue for Bush, who promptly stepped forward from behind a curtain, setting off pandemonium among the troops.

“I was just looking for a warm meal somewhere,” Bush joked to some 600 soldiers from the 1st Armored Division and the 82nd Airborne Division, who were stunned by the appearance and applauded wildly while giving Bush a standing ovation.

“Thanks for inviting me. I can’t think of finer folks to have Thanksgiving dinner with than you all.”

“We thank you for your service, we’re proud of you, and America stands solidly behind you,” Bush said. And he urged the people of Iraq to “seize the moment and rebuild your great country based on human dignity and freedom.”

Soldiers at the dinner spoke enthusiastically about Bush.

“He’s got to win in ‘04. No one else can prosecute this war like he can,” said Army Capt. John Morrison from Butler County, Pa. Said PFC1 Kyle Crittenden of Humboldt County, Calif.: “I’m proud to serve in his Army.”
*********************************
I could post a zillion pictures of a REAL Commander in Chief, but the words of the Serviceman in the last paragraph says it all.

Lord, in Your great and infinite wisdom, please grant us reprieve from this onslaught of evil.
Amen.
GOD BLESS AMERICA...AGAIN SOON.
I am in tears.
