Any chance Al Gore could go to jail for fraud?

Perhaps, especially if there's a Round 2 of documents waiting to be dropped. There's no doubt that some professors on both sides of the Atlantic are in major hot water.

You can begin with individual private lawsuits from skeptical scientists who suffered professionally, for claims of tortious interference, defamation, restraint of trade, etc.

Then there's the False Claims Act and qui tam actions that will force them to disgorge any government grants that they may have obtained under false pretenses. Treble damages may apply under RICO in some suits.

There may be a possibility of class action lawsuits, e.g. from car dealers, gas station owners, or some other class that can show their business suffered due to knowingly falsified science.

Now, let's talk about the possibility of criminal sanctions. Much of the financing for these scoundrels, even in England, came from the NOAA, NASA., NSF, Energy Department and other US government agencies. I suspect the inspectors general of those agencies will want a look at what is being done with their money. Federal penalties for misusing government funds, falsifying federally funded research, obstructing justice, and the like are astonishingly harsh.

Congress will bring great shame and criticism on itself if it doesn't investigate, but even if they don't, I think we can count on action from state legislatures and attorneys general where these guys have their academic sinecures.

I encourage everyone to adopt merciless, constant Alinsky-style attacks on everyone involved in this despicable fraud, from Al Gore and George Soros down to the grad students in these laboratories.

If you live in Pennsylvania, Arizona, or other states where the major players have academic appointments, then get in touch with your state legislature's Education and Energy committee chairmen, attorneys general, boards of regents, university presidents, newspaper and TV outlets, and any other institution that can make life miserable for them. File flurries of FOIA requests. Picket them. Join class action lawsuits, or file them yourself as an aggrieved taxpayer. Get them fired. Get them named and shamed in the media. Publicize their pictures.

The Left perfected the use of vicious lawfare, but now It's time to have our revenge and use their own tools against them. We can use this to hurt the Left badly. You all know I'm a lawyer hater but this is one way they can redeem themselves in my eyes.

You might even get rich doing it, if you can tap into a big NGO's endowment like Greenpeace or the WWF, or a big oil company that was working with these scum under the table. Best of all would be to loot Al Gore or George Soros of much of their ill-gotten gains.

Don't show pity or mercy or hesitation. Be bold; be aggressive; be willing to stick your neck out in your community, and live up to the birthright your ancestors bequeathed you by their sweat and blood.

These people were engaged in the greatest financial conspiracy in history. They meant to loot trillions of dollars from you and your descendants. Worse, they meant to enslave you to the climate commissars of an unelected UN bureaucracy.

These are some of the worst people in the world. They are your mortal enemies. They want to enslave and impoverish your grandchildren. Bankrupt them! Hound them out of their jobs! They must be made to suffer, and to serve as a dire warning and example to the rest of the one-worlders that we will stop at nothing to preserve our freedom.

[[Perhaps, especially if there’s a Round 2 of documents waiting to be dropped. There’s no doubt that some professors on both sides of the Atlantic are in major hot water.]]

You can bet the farm that right now, climatologists and scientists who support globsl warming all over the world are deleting hteir emails and hiding reports that are contrary to their claims

[[You can begin with individual private lawsuits from skeptical scientists who suffered professionally, for claims of tortious interference, defamation, restraint of trade, etc.]]

I sure hope you’re right, but it’s goign to be awful tough to prove they were discriminated against- the opposition will simply claim they were let go because of ‘unprofessional conduct’- broad enough of a term that it can’t rteally be proved or disproved

[[Then there’s the False Claims Act and qui tam actions that will force them to disgorge any government grants that they may have obtained under false pretenses. Treble damages may apply under RICO in some suits. ]]

I dunno about htis one- they will simply claim the money was well spent ‘researching’ the issue- and that their conclusions were not tied to the grants nor required- just that they ‘research’ the issue

[[There may be a possibility of class action lawsuits, e.g. from car dealers, gas station owners, or some other class that can show their business suffered due to knowingly falsified science. ]]

This might be a stronger possibility because the ‘conclusions’ that the IPCC and CRU dreamed up did infact directly affect many businesses negatively- hopefully these busiensses are able to join a massive class action lawsuit to sue the crap out of these organizations

[[Federal penalties for misusing government funds, falsifying federally funded research, obstructing justice, and the like are astonishingly harsh. ]]

But again, the point must be made that these groups will simpoly argue that they did what they were required to do- ‘Research the issue’

I think there’s two seperate issues at work here- whether they ‘defrauded the government’ by accepting money and not doing what they were ‘hired’ to do, and #2 whether they broke the law while doing what they were funded to do- Lawsuits are goign to have to focus on #2, because #1- they actually did do what they were fudned to do- they just broke hte law while doing it

[[If you live in Pennsylvania, Arizona, or other states where the major players have academic appointments, then get in touch with your state legislature’s Education and Energy committee chairmen, attorneys general, boards of regents, university presidents, newspaper and TV outlets, and any other institution that can make life miserable for them.]]

we need someone with a smart mind to draft a letter we can send to our representatives, and one we can send the president and congress as well- demanding an investigation, and demanding someoen be held accoutnable for this scam

Congress will bring great shame and criticism on itself if it doesn't investigate,

Check your premise.
