Allow me to be a pessimist and say that I highly doubt we will ‘slaughter’ the Democrats. We’ll make gains but we certainly will not wipe them out. That is wishful thinking, not realistic.

I believe you are right. Not a wipeout at this point. 12 to 20 seats in the House, Senate I dunno? Hardly enough to stop them. Of course, the bottom could drop out on the Dems or they could regroup. A year is a lifetime in politics.

AGreed. There are too many adolescent psychotics in this country now. They will probably, along with all those “brilliant” independents, add to Democrat majorities in 2010 and also re-elect Mr. Obama.
