May I offer a word of caution to an obvious "Cup's half-full" guy? Never underestimate the ability of the Steele-directed RNC, The GOP, and their hardened corps of RINO dweebs to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
The RNC sees 2010 as a means to get back to "business as usual," not as an earth-shaking reversal of the Obama Drive Toward Socialism. Do you honestly think that a national party that could not handle the "Scozzafava Affair" can handle Obama and his Trillion-Dollar War Chest? (In case you forgot, Newt endorsed her, Steele witheld campaign funds from a guy who could have easily won.)
It cost Obama $300 Million to buy off Landrieu, Lincoln, etc. just to get a bill to the floor for debate. Unfortunately, there's plenty more where that came from.

LOL. Obama's money might well buy them, too; just not as easily as Landrieu and Lincoln. Where are the conservative candidates? Who's going to stand up and just flat out say that "Climate Change," and "Cap and Trade" are just plain bullshiite? Has one Republican even publicly stated that there is at least an issue with Obama's eligibility under Article II of the Constitution? Energy policy? Foreign Policy?
You predict a landslide. I predict two more SCOTUS picks who will make Sotomayor look conservative! I predict that the economy in 2012 will make us call 2009 "The Good Old Days."
