The Senate language is not precisely the same as the House legislation, therefore, a conference will be necessary between members of both chambers from the relevant committees. This legislation will once again be required to go through each chamber for vote, the House must once again reach 218. If the abortion provision in included, Stupak has said he has the votes from the pro-life caucus to kill the final bill. As far as I've understood from him, they will not attempt the excuse, "Hey, we got our language in the House version, we couldn't manage any more, give us credit for that." They will defeat the bill if it means taxpayer funding for killing the unborn.
The truth of the matter so far is we have been shafted at every turn, I do not expect the process to change. With corrupt politicians (both parties) in charge, to expect things to break our way is a fantasy. We are being set up again.
