I like Beck fine — but he’s a bit of a ‘chicken little’ conservative. His outlook is always grim. He’s a first-rate alarmist. If the senate had the votes, they’d have passed it already. This thing’s DOA.

I like Beck, but I totally agree with your point. His brand of folksy sensationalism sells well in this political climate. In addition as Mark Levin pointed out Beck changes his alarmism as the wind changes, he was for the TARP bill and was screeching last Fall that the system was about to collapse, he had on his economic experts predicting mass bank failures, etc, if there wasn't immediate action. I agree with his points on the national debt and the defeicit but the dirty secret is the system is already collapsing there is no way to stop it. Those bonds the Chinese hold...suckers, we will default on them and become the world's biggest deadbeat. It's done and was done back in 1933. Socialism never works, it's an abject and discredited failure and we have spend trillions chasing this fairy tale. You can't have a system where a janitor over his lifetime pays in 30k in SS taxes and then pay out 250k over his 20 year retirement. It's basic math and total ponzi scheme. We might as well just default on the debt and kill two birds with one stone, alleviate ourselves of the burden and collapse China where they can turn the guns on each other and commit national suicide. G*dless heathens are headed that way anyway.

They think they’re too big to fail. They’re not. That’s a dealbreaker, ladies~!
