If you think about it, it’s a way for CA to rip the rest of us off. The students get guaranteed federal loans and the kids with grants get more federal assistance (thus the school gets more federal assistance).
Now the rest of us can get started on the California bailout program. I have a feeling that California is going to do everything it can to funnel federal money into it’s coffers.

I'll bet not one of these students would agitate to reduce college costs. They just don't want to pay for it. Here is a simple solution for CA colleges, 20% staff cut, and 20% pat cut for those that remain.
