I’m in Seoul right now and the consensus here is it has been “disappointment”.

Success

It was a failure.

However, every time he fails..... another Angel gets it’s wings.

The answer depends on who is setting the criteria.

It was a failure.

It is a failure insofar as the advancement of America's interests and image. But is it a failure for President Hussein and his party? Probably not.

A success. He got to visit China, see the sights and partake of numerous lavish state banquets fit for an emperor. Think of it as a travel vacation in the Orient away from Ogabe’s golf, European and stateside vacations.

I'll put forth this theory; I think over the years the foreigners respect the American people, but have come to distrust the government. They know that his popularity and respect of his own people is waning rapidly, and they see what he is doing to the economy.

Insofar as American foreign aid has been so prevelent over the decades, they see the "drying up" of the economy of America as a loss for themselves in the long run. If America "dies" then billions of aid dollars won't be making it to the world at large.

Finally, you don't have to speak English to identify a empty suit showboat...and they know mr. shuck 'n' jive is NOT a leader on the international stage. You just don't take a would-be "rock star" serious when dealing with world affairs.

He went "begging" for a credit extension from China, and the rest was photo opps...and they know it. He was "using" them to benefit his own ends...nobody likes to be used.

You’re probably correct, but I see every failure for Obama as having a cumulative effect.

Unfortunately, I also see at least half of our country as being droolers, so either way, it could be a wash. ;>)

Fine fix we’re in.

I guess that it could be considered a success.

Michelle wasn’t there to join him, so she didn’t need to loosen her Boob belt in order to digest the dog that she would have been served,

while Zer0 was able to grovel all by himself to convince China (but not Taiwan) that their country should fund all the US debt that he can accumulate!

Agree.

When will the idiots in the MSM, as well as the hosts on Fox News, STOP referring to Obama as the “leader of the free world”????

He’s not even the leader of the USA or his own political party!!!! He’s a hand puppet and various individuals and organizations take turns manipulating him to say and do what they demand of him. Pathetic!

Hello Natural Law,
I was in Seoul wayyy back in 72.
The country had risin from the ashes of war at that time to be quite the modern city.
I worked at the command center at YonSong. And lived off post.
I miss walking the open air markets and the country side.
How are things there what with the northern madman getting pushy?
Where are you and what are you doing there?
Thanks,, just interested.
And how do you find the country?
I loved it and thought the folks there were great.
