To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

This is a flip-flop we can support.

I don’t know... she was free to disagree with McCain on drilling, so she could have spoken her mind on this as well, I imagine. Nonetheless, I guess she has drifted in the right direction and that is a good thing.

“All the guards in the world are not going to keep out people who want in.”

Plenty of land mines, a couple of bombing ranges, and a shoot on sight policy would do wonders to keep the illegals out.

How they would howl if we did to Mexicans what Mexico does to Guatemalans.

But that is still going about it back asswards.

Hit the employers such that it doesn't make sense to hire illegal labor, because right now it doesn't make economic sense to NOT hire illegal labor if your competitor is keeping his prices lower by doing so.

As soon as the jobs are not made available, they will leave and not try to come back.

I wonder if we could use some sort of income for the rights to tapping our Nation’s oil to pay off the debt like they do for State income in Alaska? Seems this would sell well with the regular people and leave the global warming chicken little NWO idiots in the dust. It would be a bridge over the mess the banksters and the socialists have created.

Tapping our resources would ensure our energy security should the Middle East blow up or should Russia try to freeze out former Soviet States and Europe to get their way.

Seems this would launch the GOP into a major advantage over AlGore’s global and National watermelon punishment and mess. It would totally screw up the NWO crowd.

Income from the fees would cover the tax cuts needed to get the economy going again.

Also, we have some banking corruption and frog marching to do with the elite who have been defrauding the public and investors in too many schemes to mention. Palin has a reputation of taking on those kind of people.

In addition, if she runs on a plank to clean up corruption, she needs to do some prosecutions on Congress members - like Barney Frank and others who screwed up banking standards to turn our banking system into a low income housing project and crash the whole dang thing. There is no regard for investors’ trust nor rights in these fascist deals CEO’s make with creepy politicans.

If she is going to run on ending deficit spending, she needs to cut the hell out of big government waste and abuse. No more Acorn, no more leftist arts funding, no more marxist social funding of any kind which corrupt our system of government. All Americans have equal rights and there are not tribes that are recognized in discriminatory/segregated funding and law anymore. Get rid of the Congressional Black Cacus, brown cacus, etc.

GOV. PALIN: I think just naturally independents are going to gravitate towards that Republican agenda and Republican platform because the planks in our platform are the strongest to build a healthy America. We’re all about cutting taxes and shrinking government and respecting the inherent rights of the individual and strengthening families and respecting life and equality. You have to shake your head and say, “Who wouldn’t embrace that? Who wouldn’t want to come on over?” They don’t have to necessarily be registered within the Republican Party in order to hook up with us and join us with that agenda standing on those planks. In Alaska, about 70% of Alaskans are independent. So that’s my base. That’s where I am from and that’s been my training ground, is just implementing common-sense conservative solutions. Independents appreciate that. You’re going to see more and more of that attraction to the GOP by these independents as the days go on.

Sarah, hammer this home daily from now until election day in 2012. . . and it's yours!

It’s weird that she would say she doesn’t think a third-party is going to work. Do the Teapers know?

Are you going to tattle on her?

Is she going to be in trouble with the "Teapers"?

Is what she said, politically incorrect with the tea partiers?.

If I think a third-party doesn't work, will I be shunned by the tea partiers?

Weird ia right. LOL!

I listened to it today on the radio and again on Rush’s website. I thought it was a mixed bag; some good answers on healthcare but not so good on how to deal with the economy. Overall, I thought the interview was a bit short - 30 mins including commercials. Based on what I’ve heard and seen on Oprah, Barbara Walters and Rush, she seems a bit more confident and seasoned than last year at the same time.

RUSH:... So what are your thoughts now on the viability of a third party if the Republican Party can’t be brought around?

GOV. PALIN: You know, to be brutally honest, I think that it’s a bit naive when you talk about the pragmatism that has to be applied in America’s political system. And we are a two-party system. Ideally, sure, a third party or an independent party would be able to soar and thrive and put candidates forth and have them elected, but I don’t think America is ready for that.

This is the only part of the interview I was disapponted in.

I felt a great disturbance in The Force. As if the hopes of millions of Conservatives were deflated in an instance while millions of RINO office-holders nationwide breathed a collective sigh of relief.

I was hoping Gov. Palin was going to put the fear of God into The Republican Party by suggesting they faced more Doug Hoffmans if they don't man up and start promoting Conservative ideas and ideals.

I heard the full interview and Sarah did well. She was knowledgeable and well versed on all the things Rush asked her. I just knew that Rush would be the one asking her about substantive issues like the economy, energy, healthcare, the state of conservatism, the GOP, illegal immigration, etc, instead of asking questions about the male-whore Levy, or Couric's “what newspapers do you read” gotcha interview.

Funny how some of the anti-Palins out there were saying that our conservative talk show hosts would ask the soft questions and it would be the enemy who would ask the tougher questions. The enemy isn't interested in policies, but rather they are interested in gossip to depict Sarah in a poor light. However, that has backfired too, because Sarah comes across as a strong and honest woman.

Everyone... she will have a chance on O’Rielly and Hannity to discuss immigration. Just keep watching. No need to argue about her unknown full-positions tonight.

She said... “We have to crack down on illegal immigration; it’s called illegal for a reason.”

Lets see her round out that comment in the next few days. Her comments during the campaign mean nothing to me under the McCain stranglehold.

Go Sarah!

She basicly said the same thing reagan said...

I’m sure the “moderates” are WAY more nervous about her not going third party....

See the thing about moderates....they are perfectly willing to be in the minority and work with dems so long as the they remain in charge...

Moderates...the “Washington generals” of politics...

Fantastic interview of Sarah Palin by Rush on Tuesday! It was all policy and issues... no Levi crap and other fluffy stuff that was discussed on Oprah's show.

Sarah Palin Discusses "Common Sense Conservative Solutions" On Limbaugh

Audio runs 19:25 minutes.

My tagline hints at one of the many topics discussed by Rush and Sarah during this interview...

Now, free of the McCain baggage, she sounded so relaxed, confident and calm.

I felt good afterwards :)

Exactly... same here. It's wonderful to finally hear Sarah unleashed!
