I think he could`nt care less about the polls. His entire focus is causing as much destruction to the country as he can. And he can do a lot more in 3 more years.

The point about him sinking in the polls with each of these alienating moves is 2010. The public will not want to facilitate what he’s doing, and the way to stop it will be to vote his rat henchmen out of office. That was my point.
