1) Americans do not bow.
2) The President represents the USA...he in particular does not bow.
3) Bowing often means subservience - we are not anyone’s servant.
4) No head of state is expected to bow to another head of state. We do not give bows, nor would we expect others to bow to us.
Thank you for your comments. Points well taken. I myself didn’t look @ it in such a negative light, I just saw it as 0’s way of showing respect.
