Thanks! You make an excellent point. I had entirely overlooked the possibility by assuming simply that Lou exited sua sponte.

In other words, if Dobbs was fired without valid cause, then he can go to work for Fox. But if he quit voluntarily, then perhaps his only hope of getting a lot of face time on TV is if he runs for POTUS.

Therefore, let's pray that he was fired and that he spares us another "Perot scenario."

Even if he quit, he can claim he did so because CNN created a hostile work environment which made it difficult or impossible to do his job. The printed comments from the CNN groupies alone provide a lot of good evidence for just such a lawsuit . . . unlike Dan Blather's case.

Remember, Rather sued for breach of contract and CBS walked away owing nothing because they gave him another assignment which had no audience appeal.
