GGG, you are basing your argument on two different meaning of the word "evolution". If you are invoking the concept of natural selection (which you did, in the title), it implies that you are discussing the biological meaning of the word. "Evolution" of stars, galexies etc., conversely, does not involve any natural selection. It is merely a synonym of "history".

Anyway, no sane biologist/biochemist would confuse origins of life with evolution of species.

I didn’t know UC Berkeley was infested with insane biologists and biochemists (Marxists/Socialists, surely, but not insane biochemists and biologists, or even Christians). However, it must be the case, if we are to believe the Berkeley website “From soup to cells – the origin of life”, under the general heading “evolution 101” and further billed as “your one-stop source for information on evolution.” (http://evolution.berkeley.edu/evolibrary/article/origsoflife_01).

Clearly, a significant portion of the Science Community perceives a distinct connection between Evolution (the ToE) and the origin of life, and the connection seems to be that the details of Evolution itself point the way to how the origin of life occurred. You need to get in touch with those folks and get their minds right. As things are now, they are undercutting what you’re trying to accomplish.

“Anyway, no sane biologist/biochemist would confuse origins of life with evolution of species”.

No logical non-cult afflicted scientist or other person dismisses, discounts, contorts into pretzels and above all: demands of others to be permanently dim-witted when acknowledging the impervious, logical and obvious connection between origins of life when discussing “origins of species/natural selection”.

The fact that liberals demand to have both explained away without any intelligence, any design and any common sense links the two as securely as liberals are linked to junk science ala algore’s hot air cult.
