The U.S. drops its support for Honduran former president Manuel Zelaya. Hugo Chávez says nothing, a development in itself.
The October 30 Tegucigalpa-San Jose Accord (translated here), under which the United States and other nations are to recognize the results of the November 29 Honduran elections, was hailed by the U.S. government and by the Organization of American States (OAS) as as bringing an end to a months-long political crisis.
It seems to have fizzled because former President Manuel Zelaya insisted that he be reinstated before the unity government took office. Under the accord, the unity government took office, as scheduled, on November 5. Zelaya refused to submit his list of participants since he had not been reinstated, and it appears that his partisans will try to disrupt the elections...

Quietly hoping we won’t pay any attention to the incompetence of the US role in support of Zelaya’s actions.

Has everyone noticed that the husband of the smartest woman in the world, the First Rapist, has never defended his historic incompetence in bombing the wrong side in (the former)Yugoslavia?
Our prayers have been answered (I hope*). It sure as H was not the result Obama wanted. The brave Honduran people have once again showed their mettle.
* The only caveat is Obama has sent some ultra high negotiator down there again to extract something. The One never gives up (which is a bad thing when he always picks the wrong side.)

Those freaking arsehats! In terms of support for freedom, this has to be the worst episode in the sorry short tenure of TOTUS. There are plenty of other bad examples, but this one was a no-brainer. The MSM silence is deafening.
