“They,” in other words, means every American who makes over $250,000 (or is it $200,000? or really $150,000?) — but does not support Barack Obama.

"They" are everyone who doesn't support Barack Obama, no matter if they make 250,000, or 50,000. "They" are anyone who attempts to live within their means, whatsoever those means are. "They" are, largely, "us"...

It is the strange world of a man of "counterfeit" ideas about wealth, poverty, government's role in a free society, and other ideas that made America the place for the oppressed from all over the world--a place where constitutional limits on the coercive power of government were recognized as essential to liberty.

Does anyone remember this remark from early November 2008? "At a Virginia rally -— 'If you’ll stand with me, then I know that we can win Virginia and we can win this election and we can finally bring the change we need to Washington,' Obama told the estimated crowd of 35,000. 'I feel like we got a righteous wind at our backs here.'”

Then, there is this old quote from Chairman Mao:

“The ill wind of opportunism is falling, the righteous wind of socialism is on the rise.”

In light of recent events, is it just possible that Anita Dunn wrote the remarks for the Virginia rally last November? After all, he is her "go to" philosopher.
