This is one of the most ignorant posts I have ever seen on FR. You spit on the memory of those who bravely fought for a cause and have sacrificed their lives in the name of freedom, just so individuals like you can enjoy the freedom to condemn this great nation.
Do you really believe that this nation is beyond saving? A true conservative wouldn't say this, and a true conservative wouldn't call the flag a piece of laundry. A smug, pompous liberal trying to divide and conquer might write that, though.
If you don't have the guts to fight for what is right for America, and fall after the slightest tumble, then you are doing the right thing by getting out of the country. America's chances will only improve without cowardly wimps that whine after suffering a few bad political breaks.
I don't think it is beyond saving, but I am afraid it may get to a point, or maybe it already has reached that point, where armed conflict is the only way to save it. I hope that does not happen, but one must consider all the options.
