To clarify my previous post, what I meant to say was “and Cao didn’t blow off his constituents.”
Yes he did. Freebie and entitlement programs have not helped his constituents to be anything but perpetually dependent and without worth. Furthermore, he abrogated his first duty which is to uphold the constitution. Voting for what you know to be wrong - practically speaking as well as morally, is never right. The fact that his voting for the bill will never get him re-elected given the make up of his district should have made it easy for him to vote his principles. What we now know is, he doesn’t have any.
