Justa, I’m surprised every ER in the USA wasn’t overflowing last night, with so many people’s blood pressure thru the roof. The only salvation is that it will be somewhat harder to pass in the Senate unless Reid goes thru with his nuke option.

If it passes both chambers and gets signed by The One, there is ‘10 and ultimately the SCOTUS because it is on many levels unconstitutional. I am a little hesitant to put too much faith in SCOTUS after McCain-Feingold, but on the other hand, they did overturn the term limits act. This was one battle in a war that is FAR from over. So we shall see.

My point was that going after Cao, who represents one of the highest-density minority districts in the country (and whose election itself was a fluke), for voting on a bill his constituents want is a waste of energy and bandwidth. There are bigger fish to fry.

Agreed! If I did doctors or hospitals I would have been one of them.

What little faith I had in SCOTUS evaporated on 1-20-09.
By 2010 ACORN and their newly organized sister groups will bastardize the election to the point of unrecognizable. 2010 will make '08 look like child's play.

I understand and appreciate your point and theoretically agree. My point is and was, if it is unconstitutional, it IS unconstitutional, regardless of your constituency's wishes.
