i think what was said was - no organization can redefine a vote of present to voting for abortion

as has been pointed out, with the stupak amendment included, blue dawg democrats can vote yes to pass pelosicare - it is a sure thing

if the amendment is not included in the bill, the blue dawgs cannot vote to pass pelosicare

the amendment passed, but it will probably be taken out in committee

the amendment will not be in pelosicare because the committee will remove it

so without the amendment, we might be able to stop pelosicare - with it, pelosicare is sure to pass - and the amendment stripped from it

it is a tactical maneuver
