Like AARP, the AMA deserves to lose a lot of members over this. I wish they would both go broke.
The AMA only represents a SMALL percentage of the doctors. Most do not belong to or support this group.

As it is, they only represent about 20% of doctors, or less. My father is a physician and he dropped his AMA membership about 20 years ago when they started supporting abortion. He knows of very few docs who are actually members of the AMA, and knows ZERO docs who support ObamaCare.
you can only quit once! Had I not already done so, though, this’n tops the quitting with long letter to follow. AARP leadership still tops the stupid list tho’! always have, probably always will. as to AMA membership...sure to drop on passage of bill, then will slowly increase as membership standards drop precipitously! ‘Course the members won’t be making the kind of money they do now, so the AMA revenues may never be as high as they are today!
