Cho’s sister worked for the State Department. There was a message in his rambling rant for her too. If you work in Blacksburg and never heard this, it doesn’t really surprise me. The investigation did literally everything in its power, (including releasing info by drips over a long period of time,) to keep people from realizong this was a terrorist attack.
It was a blatant coverup.

We knew there was a cover-up, but it was thought to be of the Va Tech many errors in dealing with Cho. The State Poet who keynoted the memorial service was one of his professors and had reported him. The other thing was they were trying to use the deaths for more Gun Control with the anti-gun former State Police commissioner leading the panel. Also, this explains the large settlement the victims families received. They never found his hard drive or any emails he sent. Yeah Right.
