I think they are finding it goes deeper. Evidently he felt very strongly about the Muslim convert who killed the recruiters in Arkansas were justified and spoke this to several people.
He might as well have told everyong he was going to do this. Hell, he probably did tell a lot of people. Especially those who agreed with him.
