You’re really bringing up events from 8 centuries ago, with respect to the Catholics, in a discussion about Jihad in the hear and now?
Really?
I live in the hear and now. Jihad is real. Crusades against Christian heretics, not so much.
When the Sufis manage to get their brethren under control, you be sure to let me know.

The poster you are replying to is either insane, a flaming leftist, or a Muslim.

Violence between Irish Catholics and Protestants extended well into the 20th Century and included acts of terrorism going in both directions. That said, I'm not asking you to ignore the malignant sects of Islam nor Islamic militants and I agree that an overactive sense of political correctness allowed these murders to happen. About the only thing this guy could have done to advertize his intentions more clearly would have been to send out emails to his superiors about what he was about to do. I'm also not claiming that all Muslims are peaceful like the Sufis and so on. What I'm claiming is that many Muslims are peaceful and that the peaceful Muslims shouldn't be persecuted.
