Muslims are not taking out their trash regardless of encouragement. Muslims in America have been keeping their mouths shut — in support or not, but they are not risking being regarded as “bad Muslims” and thus ending up dead at the hands of the “good Muslims”.
How many coordinated Muslim terrorist attacks (as opposed to one or two crazed individual like the murders today) have occurred on American soil since 9/11? There are Muslim informants reporting terrorism in their community. You can find examples here and here. I agree that it would be nice if they did more and they should do more but it doesn't help if they don't get any credit when they do help and just get grouped in with the radicals even if they've done nothing wrong.
