There is nothing mentally wrong with him. No, I don’t know how he reconciles Islam with other parts of his life but I do know that he practices it very narrowly to the point where he separates out the cultural practices such that his wife doesn’t wear a headscarf and his son isn’t circumcised. But, guess what? I honestly don’t know how Mormons can believe what they believe, either, especially given how messed up their founders were. So should I assume Glenn Beck is insane, too? How about Jews? How about Catholics? How about Hindus? And by far, the most murderous ideologies of the 20th Century were atheist, killing well over 100 million innocent people. Should I treat all atheists as guilty until proven innocent? Or maybe we should judge people on how they individually behave rather than what they are and how other people like them behave?
