My wife just said if she was in the military she would refuse to serve with any of these people.

Correct me if I’m wrong. But did we go to Hanoi and recruit interpreters and the like?

No, nor did we go to Tokyo or Berlin. Furthermore, anyone who would have suggested such action would be branded a lunatic or a traitor. Today we have a different word-— a “progressive”. Can you imagine a soldier brought back from the pacific theatre being taken to a Japanese shrink for “PTSD”? In ‘45, it would have been a laughable suggestion, now there would be no laughter, only scorn if you dared to question if that sort of scenario should ever be allowed to happen.

But now the enlightened culture we live in has taught us that EVEN AT THE RISK OF YOUR OWN LIFE, the one thing you must never, ever allow yourself to be accused of is discrimination.

I’m not joking, there could be a military coup over this. They are going to try to whitewash it, this guy got a bad eval, or was upset over deploying, or whatever. They will trot out the “peace loving muslims” to give some generic crap about tolerance, and they may even highlight some past soldiers who were muslim and served honorably.

But the soldiers will know the truth. This was a muslim who killed soldiers going to fight muslims, and did so without warning. They cant spin that away.
