I never claimed it was. If a Muslim or a member of any other religion seeks to murder someone, then they are committing a crime. By all means prosecute people who commit crimes, but on what grounds to you persecute someone who has committed no crime? Thought crimes? Believing something you don't like or believe is dangrous? If that's all it takes to throw the Constitution away, then we should do so because democracy is inherently dangerous and people are liable to vote for the "wrong" people and put them in power. Freedom of speech is inherently dangerous because people are liable to convince other people to do terrible things. Guns are inherently dangerous because people might use them to shoot other people. Does this sound like a conservative line of thinking to you?
