Depends. The problem is, nowadays, when the talking-head types use the word “terrorist,” they put the image of some Osama-like mastermind out there...one of these Arab Muslim bastards that spends five years carefully perfecting an intricate plan like 9/11 or any number of aircraft bombings (Pan Am 103, etc.) and pulls them off. But there’s any number of homegrown Muslims here in the States that want to be big bad jihadis but can’t find their butts with two hands and a GPS. These minor-league Zarqawis probably can’t get a hold of explosives, but they could save up their stimulus checks and get a black-market weapon or two and some fatigues from the local military surplus store.
That’s why the MSM or the Feds coming out with “oh, we don’t think this is terrorist activity” is so ludicrous. Maybe it’s not *al-Qaeda* terrorist activity, but if some bedroom mujahadeen from Dallas decide they’re going to go shoot up Fort Hood in the name of their false moon god, it’s still Islamic terrorism even if some “mastermind” in a cave six thousand miles away isn’t pulling their strings.
