“Do you trust the FBI to report accurately about terrorism links? My faith is weak.”

I understand law enforcement does NOT make public everything they know, to avoid helping the bad guys, etc.

I don't like outright denials of associations with terrorism when they know otherwise. Not saying that is the case here, but it has happened in several other incidents (knowledge was already established).

Let the press say "authorities are not saying if there is a link..." but to say "there are no ties to terrorism" can be a lie when they know otherwise.
